You Can Hear Him Speak!

Many of my businesses, ministry opportunities, and books have begun by hearing the Lord speak to me. In John 10:27, Jesus says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me.” I want to share with you four specific times in my life when I knew deep in my heart that God had spoken to me. #One: Isaiah 6:8 says, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’ ▶ "On November 22, 2016, I was invited to a Thanksgiving community service at a Catholic church in town. Preachers from various churches were coming together for a night of worship and testimony. They asked me to be a part of the testimony portion of the service, giving me ten minutes to speak. Do You Need Permission to be Successful?

Don’t try to shove a square peg into a round hole – it simply will not fit. Not only will one be wasting their time, but this fruitless effort bathed in pride will be delaying precious fulfilling life-changing experiences one could know while working in and around that sweet spot known as your life’s  calling . One of my favorite verses that nails this subject to the wall is this ... Romans 11:29, "For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable." Nothing feels as liberating as working in the role to which you have a calling – be it ministry, a corporate position, a home based business, a stay at home mom role, birthing an invention or idea into fruition, public speaking on topics of our expertise, and any other scenario we are drawn to inwardly. We gravitate toward those things and that thrill in our belly with the butterflies proves that this is our "thing"! But on the contrast, simply put, one will feel at odds and miserable if we are beating out of sync
