It's Not What We Say, It's What We Do

It’s What We Do Our scripture verses for Today's Devotional are taken from 1 John 3:18 and James 2:14-26 . True love should reveal itself with practical acts of kindness. It’s very difficult to convince our unsaved loved ones or those we encounter in the workplace that Jesus is real unless we are willing to stretch out a hand of compassion, extending God’s love in a tangible way. 1 John 3:18 AMP Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words]. God Hears My Prayers

GOD Hears My Prayers 10 Promises that God hears, God knows, God sees, God cares... God is with me. I am not alone. "And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matt. 28:20b). 2. Got Hope?

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit . Romans 15:13 Are you living a life of hope today, right now, this minute? What thoughts have gone through your mind today? Are they hope-filled or hope-less? Webster’s dictionary defines hope as “the feeling that what is wanted can be had and that things will turn out for the best, (v) to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.” A hope-filled thought is knowing that things will turn out for the best. A hopeless thought is believing the worst about a situation. I often hear these expressions: “I hope my marriage will last.”“I hope my kids will be happy.”“I hope I have enough money.”“I hope my business will be successful.” Are you relying on yourself or others for hope?
