THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM...

Wonder what God thinks about this?

When...
  • The Easter Bunny is celebrated in place of the Passover Lamb.
  • Children are taught Santa Clause is real but God is not.
  • Santa Clause is taught to be supernatural, but Biblical miracles have passed away.
  • The sick give their last dollar for a remedy while refusing to believe God wants to heal them.
  • A spiritualist is real, but prophets don't exist today.
  • Horoscopes are accurate but the Bible is not.
  • Denominational doctrine is more important than the Holy Spirit.
  • The consensus of an ethnic group is more important than God's Word.
  • Soulish agendas are more important than respecting authority.
  • Holiness and Righteousness are not valued in Christianity.
  • The church winks at abominations.
  • Perverted pastors lead the people.
  • Human Trafficking actually has a customer (supply & demand).
  • Millions of taxpayer dollars pay for discord in Congress.
  • People would rather believe a lie than to believe the truth.
  • The only truth that matters is our own.
  • Apologetic leaders take pride in bashing God's anointed.
  • The lost can't find God because of division of the church.
  • The Whitehouse lights up to celebrate what God calls sin.
  • The World Trade center lights up to celebrate killing babies.
  • Pharmaceuticals chase cash instead of a curing the people.
  • Christians will gamble, over-spend and give to worldly charities, but not tithe nor give to Kingdom work.
  • Humanity craves lethal habits (drugs, alcohol, smokes, etc) but then shakes their fist at God for their problems.
  • Everyone is right in their own eyes.
  • Manipulation is considered a way of life.
  • Prayer and Bible reading is not allowed in schools.
  • The 10 Commandments are replaced by good attributes.
  • School children are taught to be gender neutral.
  • Teaching abstinence is replaced with condoms and birth control.
  • God's people have sold their birthright for a bowl of soup!
...
Lord, forgive us of our sins... they are many. And, heal our land.

Still Single? What's Wrong with You?

I HAVE NEVER BEEN MARRIED, AND NEITHER HAVE I EVER BEEN DIVORCED. I Corinthians 7:8, " But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is g ood for them if they remain (single) even as I am." Years ago Elisabeth Elliot spoke at a women's conference at my church where I served as her tech attendant for speaking at the podium. Suddenly everything I ever felt about this topic and the discomfort of the expectation of having a relationship made perfect sense and applauded the Lord and her for making my life whole at that moment. Everyone there, married or single, divorced or widowed, all came into hearty agreement as she dispelled some of the mess we have created by interacting dynamics of men and women outside of the Biblical way. She was a great proponent on the provid

It's Not What We Say, It's What We Do

It’s What We Do Our scripture verses for Today's Devotional are taken from 1 John 3:18 and James 2:14-26 . True love should reveal itself with practical acts of kindness. It’s very difficult to convince our unsaved loved ones or those we encounter in the workplace that Jesus is real unless we are willing to stretch out a hand of compassion, extending God’s love in a tangible way. 1 John 3:18 AMP Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words]. James 2:14-26 NKJV 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body
